 Location: I plan to film mainly in the streets of Miami/Wynwood, but am also considering adding South Beach or Lauderdale by the Sea to my list of locations I really like the big city look of the Downtown Miami areas, whereas the artsy graffiti of Wynwood also really fits the song Costuming: Understanding that the lyrics and intentions of this song primarily applied to a changing youth, I began looking at countercultural movements. That being said, my idea of costuming is a mix of the 50's beatnik look, 70's punk look, and early 2000's hipster look. This means tight pants, preferably black or light washed denim jeans, flashy patterns/animal prints, stripes, leather boots or dress shoes, maybe some painted nails and messy hair, and chain necklaces Schedule: As of 11/16, I do not have a set schedule, however I plan to take a day from 11/20-11/28 and filming everything. Comparing La Jetee, the short, and 12 Monkeys, the full-length movie

 In the full-length film "12 Monkeys", James Cole is a state prisoner in 2035. He is eligible for release if he agrees to go back in time and stop a terrible plague. The majority of people on Earth have been wiped off by the virus, and those who remain dwell underground because the air is deadly. Returning to 1990, six years before the virus breaks out, Cole is quickly locked up in a mental hospital because his warnings seem like deranged rants. He meets Jeffrey Goines, the crazy son of a renowned virologist, and Dr. Kathryn Railly, a scientist. The authorities send Cole back to 2035, and he eventually arrives in 1996, where he was supposed to be. In order to get Dr. Railly's assistance in his mission, he kidnaps her. As Cole investigates the mystery, he hears voices, gets disoriented, and questions his own sanity. "Prisoners" and its conventions

The lighting in the film "Prisoners" feels very natural . For a majority of the movie, the characters are lit by a light placed outside the window, which creates the illusion of daylight or on one side in the indoor shots as if someone were in the room or building. In some scenes, the only light present comes from headlamps, flashlights, and candles. Here, we see high contrast, low light, and deep shadows while still retaining clean visuals.  Prisoners  is a dark film in content, and the director really shows it through the way he did the  lighting. The audience doesn't actually see the sun even once throughout the entire film. Every shot outdoors is done at night, or with gloomy weather, and sometimes in rainy or even snowy times, still obscuring the sun. That results in an a very grey tone with desaturated colors and a visual aesthetic which lines up very well with the story.
