Story: boarded ✓

First Scene- collecting my thoughts     The first scene is comprised of the first 3 panels of my storyboard sheet and takes up the first 18 seconds of the song. This section stays very literal to the lyrics, establishing the basis of the story. The viewer will see the character looking out of a dirty old window, before a jumpcut to a time lapse of the hustle and bustle of city life right outside that window. He then drops and sinks into a seat to think. Second Scene- Wandering     The second scene combines panels 4 and 5, bringing the character out of his room and out onto the streets in order to search for the sound which he craves. Again, the viewer sees a time lapse of city life moving by before a closeup of the character, who is sweating. Then, the viewer follows the character walking down the lines in the middle of the street on his search. Pre-chorus into Chorus 1:     This time has the character "performing" to the camera, as is a convention in punk music videos. It

Making Plans for Nigel -XTC

Location: I plan to film mainly in the streets of Miami/Wynwood, but am also considering adding South Beach or Lauderdale by the Sea to my list of locations I really like the big city look of the Downtown Miami areas, whereas the artsy graffiti of Wynwood also really fits the song Costuming: Understanding that the lyrics and intentions of this song primarily applied to a changing youth, I began looking at countercultural movements. That being said, my idea of costuming is a mix of the 50's beatnik look, 70's punk look, and early 2000's hipster look. This means tight pants, preferably black or light washed denim jeans, flashy patterns/animal prints, stripes, leather boots or dress shoes, maybe some painted nails and messy hair, and chain necklaces Schedule: As of 11/16, I do not have a set schedule, however I plan to take a day from 11/20-11/28 and filming everything. I do have a relative time I'd like to film, and that's anywhere from mid-day until the evening.  Pr

Typically a lot of movement through something such as tracking shots of the band down hallways or a crowd of people. Videos tend to use a simple, basic backdrop rather is a more complicated one in order to compliment the livelihood of a crowd and performance and not distract the viewer from that. The image of the band/ artist is portrayed through their style and music. In music video’s they tend to be dressed in typical punk inspired clothing which tends to be laid back and casual or smart-casual. They would generally have a lot of tattoos or piercings. The hair for males are usually straight, longer than usual for a male and also swept to the side. For a female their hair tends to be layered, straightened and dyed. Usually black or bright, unnatural colours. Pop-Punk videos are largely performance based. The music instruments are usually played by the band members during the performance. The lead singer tends to move towards the microphone during a lyrical part of the song and away wh

I'm a huge collaboration person, especially when it comes to 99% of everything related to work. I work really well in teams but often end up doing most of the work in a situation where people ride on my abilities. That just isn't good for me. On the off chance I'm assigned a good group though, I still flourish and end up doing better, having good people on my side. All of this being said, I plan to ride solo for this project. The ideas in my mind are often confusing to other people. I can confidently call myself creative. This can come across as a very in-your-face thing, and for this project which allows for infinite wiggle room, I'd like to keep those ideas in between me and you (Cambridge examiner reading this).  I've chosen to do the song "Kids in America" by the Muffs. This song comes for the 1995 album for the original sound track to the movie "clueless". At face value, I chose this song because I like the way it sounds. The vocals sound

I am Alex Rosenblum Vevo™

I am Alex Lane Rosenblum. I am 16 years old and come from Fort Lauderdale Florida. My interests include performing (onstage: singing, acting, and dancing),  music, biking, driving, watching movies, seeing family and friends, and collecting vinyl records and cassettes. My favorite genre of film is probably comedy or drama. Recently, I watched the Lighthouse and Rocky Horror Picture Show which I saw twice. The Lighthouse was an interesting viewing experience. I love Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson, and I was really excited to see them in a movie together. I was bored while watching it, having to restart 7 times; I do like Robert Eggers as a director though, I thought his work was phenomenal. Rocky Horror Picture Show, I saw once in theaters this month and once on my own. It now reigns as my favorite movie of all time and within the next few months, I'll be joining the cast.   I wanted to take AICE media studies for a plethora of reasons Number one being that I appreciate film
