My master plan

Plan for shooting the script:

Locations:

  • Therapist's office (My kitchen)
  • Jim's apartment (my room)
  • AA meeting (My garage)
  • Everything in this short film will be shot indoors, eliminating a lot of the risks associated with filming outdoors
  • INT. THERAPIST'S OFFICE - DAY: Shot during the day. Specific date not mentioned.
  • INT. JIM'S APARTMENT - NIGHT: Shot during the night. Specific date not mentioned.
  • INT. AA MEETING - NIGHT: Shot during the night. Specific date not mentioned.
  • INT. JIM'S APARTMENT - DAY: Shot during the day. Specific date not mentioned.
  • INT. THERAPIST'S OFFICE - DAY: Shot during the day. Specific date not mentioned.
Costuming:
  •     Jim should be wearing casual clothes, jeans and a T-shirt or buttondown, boots or running shoes, nothing too special
  • Linda should be dressed slightly more professionally. My thinking is closer to Dr. Melfi from "The Sopranos". I see Linda wearing a grey or black pantsuit with a white button-down and maybe the top button was undone.

  • The safety of actors, crew, and equipment will be the primary concern during filming.
  • The crew will ensure that all locations are safe and secure for filming.
  • If filming occurs outside, the crew will ensure that the area is cordoned off and appropriate safety measures are taken.
  • The crew will also ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and is used safely.
  • In an emergency, the crew will follow the appropriate safety protocols, including calling for medical attention if necessary.
Props:
  • Very few props are required.
  • The props I'd be using would be more set-determinate, like trash or empty bottles, maybe a cell phone, not so much the things that the characters use.
Schedule:
  • I don't have a set schedule for the shooting of my short film, but I plan roughly on shooting between 3/16-3/26
